Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our principal

Welcome to Glendale East Public School — a place where every child is known, valued and supported to reach their full potential.

At Glendale East, students are at the heart of everything we do. Our dedicated staff create a warm, inclusive environment where children feel safe, connected and ready to learn.

Through high-quality explicit teaching, strong wellbeing programs and a focus on individual growth, we support every student to succeed.

High Potential and Gifted Education programs extend and challenge learners, while Aboriginal education enriches our school and deepens cultural understanding.

We help every learner build confidence, curiosity and a love of learning.

What makes Glendale East Public School so special is the strong sense of belonging shared by all of our students, families and staff. Every child is known, valued and supported, and our warm, inclusive environment helps them feel safe, connected and ready to learn each day.

Our school community is welcoming, supportive and proud.

We value strong partnerships with families and believe that when we work together, children do their best.

Our community is an important part of our school, celebrating achievements, embracing diversity, sharing culture, supporting one another and creating meaningful opportunities for students to learn and grow.

Together, we build a culture where every child feels a sense of belonging and can thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

Chelsea Lilliss, Principal of Glendale East Public School
